Mr. Goh Mia Chun and his wife Ms. Pan Ling Hong embarked on this trip that will take them through 48 countries in 18 months.

"My motive is to see as much as possible, to experience as much as possible and to see the world," said Goh.

If they succeed, they'll be the first Singapore couple to complete this route.

The trip took them five solid years to plan and it has not been entirely smooth sailing along the way.

They had spent S$40,000 on buying a motorbike and modifying the bike to cater to the demanding journey ahead.

However, their motorbike was stolen last October while travelling in Malaysia.

The couple had to spend 40% of their trip's budget to buy a replacement.

Oneshift.com wishes them all the best and a safe journey ahead.
