The third generation Elgrand, introduced just two years ago, now offers an even more majestic exterior and improved interior refinements for greater comfort. “We have listened to our customers’ feedback on the previous Elgrand and sought to improve the minor change model by introducing a new 7-seater luxury variant for the discerning large families. We are confident that the new minor change Elgrand is able to meet any large families’ day-to-day activity with a touch of elegance and luxury,” said Mr Ron Lim, General Manager, Sales and Marketing, Tan Chong Motor Sales.
Although termed a minor change, there is a huge difference when it comes to the redesign of the Elgrand’s exterior. The most striking visual element on the Elgrand is the new dynamic exterior design which imparts a strong presence and exudes luxury. The front grille is now bolder and more majestic. It is fitted with new signature LED head lamps with Active Adaptive Front-Lighting System and a chrome finishing that enhances the luxurious feel. It also features clear-lens rear lamps and new multi spoke design 18-inch alloy wheels for a grand finish.
Nissan’s new Advanced Driving-Assist Display (ADAD), first introduced in the Nissan Teana launched late last year, puts key information right in front of the driver in an intuitive 3D-effect depth and tilt display to help drivers focus on the road. The system is customizable and adjustable using the steering wheel controls. Drivers can view information such as audio system display and drive information.
The minor change Elgrand now comes in two different variants – 7-seater luxury variant and the 8-seater standard variant. While the 8-seater standard variant retains most of its winning features, the new 7-seater luxury variant boasts a few extra comforts for its driver and passengers.
It features new grandeur black leather with diamond-shape quilted patterned seats. Additional amber accents and special stitching adds an extra dash of luxury. Complementing the new seat design is the new gradient black maple ornament that runs across the front console and on its amenities. The seats are electronically powered as the driver’s seat can be adjusted 8 ways while the front passenger’s seat can be adjusted 6 ways. The 7-seater luxury variant also features new captain seats with an ottoman in the second row. For more personalized comfort, it also comes with a memory seat function for the driver and front passenger.
