What we like:
pros
Tractable diesel with petrol driving characteristics. Offers driving pleasure both on and off road.
What we dislike:
cons
Keyless entry is a $4
cons
456 option!

The interior is refined and spacious and reflects the excellent Porsche build quality with its selection of rich leather and aluminum trim. Like all current models, the Cayenne gets a new infotainment system that has an improved user interface with touchscreen features. But we feel it still lags behind systems from BMW and Audi in terms of ease of use.

The rear bench is wide enough to accommodate three adults easily with plenty of legroom for all including the centre passenger. Boot capacity is also capacious at 618 litres and expands into a flat loading bay capable of swallowing 1,728 litres of cargo.

While its off-road capability isn’t quite as extreme as the Range Rover, the Cayenne Diesel has enough talent to make a winding road an enjoyable one. But off-road, it will still be able to keep up with the Range Rover most of the way.
