MINI Cooper S Cabriolet 1.6 Review: Loud, loud, loud...
The Cooper Cabriolet was a pleasurable car to drive, but how about the manic S variant here? Is it be able to impress the enthusiast who wants the topless option? Colin tells you what he finds rather interesting about this car...

At SGD$147,800, the Cooper S Cabrio is certainly not cheap for a small cabriolet, particularly when it come with four seats but can really only sit two in true comfort.
But we cannot use practicality to judge such cars, as it's definitely not your regular cabriolet. It is, in its own rights, a proper sports car in a MINI package (all puns intended).

If you have a deep pocket and want to be different, if power and speed is what you consider your second nature, if you do not mind being constantly looked at and if you do not mind people thinking you are nuts to be driving a convertible in the tropics, then show them what your MINI Cooper S Cabrio can do. Floor it - it just may make more people irrational about convertibles.
Oh and if you do buy one, order it in Interchange Yellow please...
