To be fair, the Yeti makes sense when you look at the big picture. Instead of quibbling about small details like a lack of iPod connectivity or keyless ignition, the car itself is one big feature where its engineering, design and versatility combine to offer a terrifically capable alternative to the burgeoning crossover market that is currently made up of models like the Daihatsu Terios, Kia Soul, and Suzuki SX4.

Of this lot, only the Yeti stands as the car that's as at home on a long distance expressway drive as it is on a muddy trail or in the city.
