What we like:
pros
Extra oomph from the 1.8-liter engine
pros
switches between petrol and electric power very smoothly
pros
increased fuel-efficiency and decreased C02 emissions.
What we dislike:
cons
Annoying brakes
cons
lackluster cabin
cons
rear visibility obscured by the awkwardly-placed spoiler.

Owing to its somewhat better looks, the new Prius definitely has more appeal towards the car buying public at large. It's no longer just the car for environmentally conscious folks.

It builds upon the strengths of its predecessors. It's more advanced. It manages to be more quiet, refined and powerful, and at the same time, more fuel-efficient too.

So if you do lots of driving and are serious about finding a way to cut back on your fuel bill, you need to seriously consider this car.
