With their price tags, we have high expectations of both cars. And for the most part, they’ve been met.

It’s finally time to pass judgement. It’s hard to decide which one should win, as they both have their own merits. But at the end of the day, the S-Max have more pros than cons in comparison to the Previa. It won simply because it has more features, handles better, feels more solid and overall, a more driver-oriented MPV. Not only that, it betters the Previa in almost every aspect. And at the latest price, you'll save some $8,000 if you were to go for the S-Max.

The Previa on the other hand, is already showing its age, especially the interior. It also provides the least rewarding driving experience, although we know it will still sell just based on the brand’s reliability and engine performance.

Oh, and just so you know, that good friend of mine picked the S-Max too...
