The first Greenlots were launched at IKEA Alexandra. Greenlots are specially designated parking spaces for electric vehicles only. These lots have power points right beside them, to facilitate the recharging of the electric vehicle which has been parked there.

Zeco is also currently in talks with two other strategic partners, INSEAD and Republic Polytechnic. The company plans to roll out more Greenlots in the 2nd quarter of 2009.

Zeco is keen on developing charging stations, as having a sizeable number of electric vehicles on Singapore roads is highly dependent on the drivers/riders of these vehicles having convenient access to an island-wide recharging grid.
