Mercedes-Benz E 350 (AVANTGARDE) Review: Battle Royale
The long awaited new E-Class from Mercedes-Benz has finally arrived on our shores. We pit the E350 against the Audi A6 3.0 TFSI to see how it fares.
Both cars feature more standard equipment that you’ll ever need. When it comes to safety, the Merc wins hands down with its plethora of optional safety systems, such as the Attention Assist, Distronic Plus and Blind Spot Assist, amongst many others.
The E350 may be the new kid on the block, with superb cabin refinement, enviable amount of standard and safety features, but the A6 can certainly hold its fort with its stonking engine, excellent balance of ride comfort and driving dynamics. On the whole, there is not a lot between these two cars. It primarily boils down to what kind of driver you are. The enthusiasts will for sure relish in being at the helm of the A6, but as for those who prefer to have comfort, quality and safety in their executive saloons, they need not look anywhere else but at the new E-Class.
